Every winter over 2000 children in Canada are hospitalized for toboggan related accidents, and a large number of those end up with brain damage. The sad thing is that almost every one of those accidents could have had a much different outcome had they been wearing a helmet!
Helmets are not expensive, they can be purchased in many attractive designs and most importantly they can save a life. If you're planning on hitting the hills this winter, or letting your kids, then why not make sure that the day will end better than it started?
